Foreword
Ever since the first electronic article
surveillance device was installed in a retail setting 30 years
ago, retail security technology has played an increasingly
important role in store operations.
With inventory shrinkage costing retailers hundreds of millions
of rupees each year, retailers have increasingly turned to
technology such as electronic article surveillance (EAS or
tagging systems) and video surveillance. For retailers, the
potential applications and benefits of information technology
are far-reaching.

goods from manufacture, while in transport, in distribution
facilities and in stores, providing significant enhancements to

All the products are tagged with barcode item
smart tags generated by the system.
The electronic data to be stored in the tag is the product code,
material details and
MRP.
The products can be tagged at the warehouse through our software
and
inventory or at the store shelf, for the same is
automatically created and issued.
Additional area can print customer logo or any
visual display material.
System Integrator View of Issuing & Receipt Section
At the sale point barcode scanner scans the products and the
sale bill is automatically
generated. The online software takes care of updation of stocks.
A Contactless Smart
Card with 1 KB capacity is also integrated with the system to
record customer loyalty and issue point system to Customer
Retention Program.
